A Meow Wolf Exhibition | December 16th thru January 8th
In the Spector Ripps Project Space
This holiday season come see "Collective Collected", a group show of traditional works from artists associated with the prominent art collective Meow Wolf. Works of art in a wide range of media from over 30 artists will be on display, with proceeds benefiting CHIMERA, an arts education outreach program created by CCA and Meow Wolf. Digital video work produced by Santa Fe Public School students through CHIMERA will also be on display in The Studio at CCA.
Meow Wolf, known for its non-traditional creations of immersive installation art, are excited to give the public an opportunity to view personal works from artists associated with the collective, while benefiting the CHIMERA program from the sales of the works.
CHIMERA is a CCA arts education outreach program that puts Meow Wolf instructors directly into Santa Fe Public School classrooms to teach collaboration through group projects. Those projects then are displayed to the public in association with Meow Wolf. CHIMERA students will be creating 30-second and 3-minute films to be presented at the opening reception of Collective Collected on Dec. 16th.
