We've prepared three hands-on exercises to help beginners become familiar with the aesthetics of editing and the software program Final Cut Pro. Editing a short documentary interview with cut-aways will give students an opportunity to interestingly shape meaning and message. The third exercise—editing a music video—offers students an opportunity to work on pacing and cutting to rhythm.
