Dior and I

DiorAndI 550“Terrific …. A fabulous "behind the seams" peek at an exclusive world.” –IndieWire

After John Galliano was fired for making an anti-Semitic rant, Christian Dior hired Raf Simons, a non-French-speaking Belgian with no experience with hand-sewn haute couture. Even more surprising was that Dior and Simons gave director Frédéric Tcheng (DIANA VREELAND: THE EYE HAS TO TRAVEL) access to film the brief and stressful eight weeks (rather than the usual four to five months) Simons was given to design, produce and premiere his first collection. DIOR AND I offers never-before-seen glimpse into the heart of the fashion scene. (U.S., 2014, 90m, IFC Films, digital)
