The CCA Living Room

livingRoomThe Living Room is a gathering space for visitors, events and community groups. It houses resource materials -- books, videos, and otherwise -- that are relevant to the current exhibitions and to contemporary art in general. The Living Room includes a movie theater-grade projector and screen, sound system and living room style seating for 10. We can augment with extra chairs for up to 45 people. The Living Room is a perfect space for an intimate author event or an artist presentation The Living Room, with its ready-to-play video projector and speakers is perfect for readings, discussions or just hanging out!

The Living Room rental is a space for community gathering, not a form of exhibition space at CCA.

Muñoz Waxman Gallery

WAXMAN GALLERY01The Muñoz Waxman Gallery (At the Center for Contemporary Arts) in Santa Fe is the perfect venue for hosting gatherings to celebrate special events, including weddings, birthdays, fundraisers, and reunions.

The spacious design of the gallery features high, wood ceilings, brick walls, and a southern facing exposure that brings in plenty of natural light at any time of the year. Two overhead glass doors at the front of the gallery can be raised to give direct access to a large, open patio and adjacent garden area.

From an intimate cocktail party to a large sit-down dinner, the contemporary artworks surrounding each event will inspire conversation and encourage connection. The Center for contemporary Arts is a unique and wonderful place for creating personal memories and sharing special occasions.

Guest capacity is approximately 350, depending on the type of event, equipment requirements, and art exhibition in place. Approximately 3,000 ft2 of gallery space is available for events, with additional space for catering support, coat check, and event related services. Approximately 1800 ft2 of open patio space with direct access to the gallery and adjacent landscaped garden area.

CCA OFFERS DISTINCITIVE RENTAL FACILITIES BY THE DAY EVENING OR WEEK suited for a variety of events presented by community organizations and individuals. CCA provides free parking for 95 vehicles, including ample handicap parking adjacent the facility and free admission to it’s gallery exhibitions.
 
*CCA's gallery spaces are not available for visual arts rentals or other exhibition rentals.

CINEMATHEQUE
CCA Cinematheque Theater 127 seat, state of the art 35MM or DVD/6500 Lumen projection, (adjacent Spector Ripps Gallery within main CCA Administrative building)
  • Commercial Rental Off Hours: $185 per hour. All day Monday, Tuesday-Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Utilities included.
  • Commercial Rental Peak Hours: $300 per hour. During Scheduled Programing, Tuesday-Sunday 2:00 PM-10:00 PM. Utilities included.
  • Non-Profit (with 501c3) Off Hours: $150 per hour. All day Monday, Tuesday-Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Utilities included.
  • Non Profit (with 501c3) Peak Hours: $240 per hour. During Scheduled Programing, Tuesday-Sunday 2:00 PM-10:00 PM. Utilities included.
  • Rental group leader's oversight and clean up immediately following the event.
  • Basic technical, podium, mic, small soundboard and projection: $25 per hour at all rental levels.

THE STUDIO AT CCA
Our multipurpose space with 4,000 Lumen DLP-HDMI Digital Projector, Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound, Blue Ray and DVD capable, wifi, and a PA system, available for up to 50 patrons. Suggested uses: Lectures, Niche films, Small music performances, Readings, Workshops and Meetings.

  • Commercial rental: $70 per hour includes 50 chairs.
  • Non-Profit (with 501c3): $60 per hour includes 50 chairs,
  • Rental group leader's oversight and clean up immediately following the event.
  • Basic technical, podium, mic, small soundboard and projection: $25 per hour at all rental levels.
MUÑOZ WAXMAN FRONT GALLERY
1,440 sq. ft. southern exposure, operable overhead glass doors opens onto 30x48 patio additional 720 sq. ft. patio extension for May- September only, heater or swamp cooling available) ADA restrooms. Approximate capacity 200.
  • Commercial Foyer Rental: $100 per hour, 4-hour minimum. $50 Flat utilities fee required. $300 refundable security deposit.
  • Non-Profit (with 501c3) Foyer Rental: $80 per hour, 4-hour minimum. $50 Flat utilities fee required.
  • Basic technical, podium, mic, small soundboard and projection: $25 per hour at all rental levels. $300 refundable security deposit.
MUÑOZ WAXMAN BACK GALLERY
4,560 sq. ft. clear span space, vaulted wood ceiling at 16ft, concrete floor, ADA restrooms, moveable gallery walls, track lighting, tech ready audio/video projection, heater or swamp cooling available. 9:00 PM City Sound Ordinance Restriction of no more than 50 decibals. Approximate capacity 500.
  • Commercial Gallery Rental: $2000 per 8 hour day, $200 per additional hour. $100 Flat utilities fee required.
  • Non-Profit (with 501c3) Gallery Rental: $150 per hour, 4-hour minimum.  $100 Flat utilities fee required.
  • Basic technical, podium, mic, small soundboard and projection: $25 per hour at all rental levels.
MW GALLERY & FOYER TECHNICAL/EQUIPMENT RENTAL OPTIONS:
  • 3700 Lumen Video Projector with DVD player and remote @ $50 per rentalplus $25 per hour of setup/breakdown.
  • CCA can provide a total of (50) black molded plastic chairs @ $50 per rental plus $25 per hour of setup/breakdown.
  • CCA can provide (8) 3-0 x 8-0 metal folding tables/plastic top, @ $40 per rental plus $25 per hour of setup/breakdown. 
  • Podium with one microphone, PA system set up, 3 table mics with stands, cabling and sound mixer. $100 per rental plus $25 per hour of setup/breakdown.
  • Custom Lighting or modifications to existing lighting $25 per hour of setup / breakdown.
