Toros de Fuego: Opening Reception

In Tultepec, Mexico’s fireworks capital, artisans build bulls packed with pyrotechnics and carry them blazing through the streets during the town’s annual festival. Martínez Contreras photographs the people, the craft, and the fire at the heart of this tradition.
